Frequently asked questions

How do I play? Swipe to slide every tile across the board; new tiles drop in after each swipe. Tap two touching tiles that share a factor to divide both by their greatest common factor. Each division moves both tiles one color up the ladder. Tiles with the same number and color clear when they touch side by side. The run ends when the board is full and no move is left. The full interactive tutorial is under How to Play on the main menu.

What happens when two Jade 1s match? The board clears and a fresh board is dealt. Your score, swipes and progress through the numbers carry on.

What are the three modes? Classic has no clock. Turbo has a clock that divisions and clears add time to. Clogged ends the moment the board is full.

Where is my progress saved? Can I move it to a new phone? Your current game, best scores, medals and settings are saved on your device only. Down Two One has no accounts and doesn't connect to the internet, so progress can't be synced between devices. A device backup (such as iCloud Backup) may restore it along with your other data when you set up a new phone.

How do I reset my progress? Delete the app from your device. All of its saved information is removed with it.

Does Down Two One have ads or in-app purchases? No. There are no ads and no in-app purchases, and the game collects no personal information. See our privacy policy below.

Can I change the language or appearance? Yes. Open Settings from the main menu to choose from 15 languages, light or dark appearance, and sound on or off.
