Down Two One — Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the mobile game Down Two One (the "App"), made by Wavaze LLC ("Wavaze", "we", "us"), handles information. Wavaze LLC is responsible for the App and is the "controller" of any personal information described here. This policy covers only the App. Our other apps and our website, wavaze.com, have their own privacy policies.

The short version

Down Two One does not collect any personal information. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet. Your game progress stays on your device, and we never see it.

Information the App collects

None. The App does not collect, receive, store on our servers, sell, rent or share any personal information or usage data. Specifically, the App:

  • does not ask you to create an account or enter your name, email address or any other details;

  • does not show ads and contains no advertising software;

  • contains no analytics, crash-reporting, attribution or tracking software;

  • does not use your device's advertising identifier, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites;

  • does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any other device permission;

  • makes no network connections and sends nothing from your device to us or to anyone else.

Information stored on your device

To play, the App saves a small amount of game information on your device only:

  • your current game, so you can resume it;

  • best scores, the highest tile colors you have reached, and the medals you have won;

  • your settings, such as sound and language, and whether you have finished How to Play.

This information is never sent to us or to third parties, and we have no way to access it. It is kept in the App's private storage on your device, which is protected by your device's operating system. If you back up your device (for example with iCloud Backup), the backup may include this information, under the terms of your backup provider.

To delete it, delete the App from your device. All of the App's saved information is removed with it.

Apple and the App Store

You download the App from Apple's App Store. Apple handles your Apple Account, downloads, payments and App Store activity under Apple's own privacy policy, not this one. If you have chosen in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us anonymous statistics and crash reports about the App. These do not identify you, and we use them only to fix problems and improve the App.

The game engine

The App is built with the Unity game engine. We do not include Unity's advertising or analytics services, and the App is set up not to send data to Unity.

Links out of the App

The App may contain links to our website, such as this policy or our support page. When you open one, it loads in your web browser, and the website's own privacy policy applies there.

Contacting us

You can reach us by email or through the contact form on our website. Either way, we receive your email address, any name you give, and whatever you choose to write. We use this only to reply to you and to help with your question; under the GDPR, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us. We keep your messages only as long as we need them for that purpose, then delete them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. Our email and website providers store these messages for us, which may be on servers in the United States. Submissions through the website form are also covered by our website privacy policy.

Children

Down Two One is suitable for players of all ages. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation and US state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act) give you rights over your personal information. These include the rights to know what is collected, to get a copy, to correct it and to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or of targeted advertising. Because the App collects no personal information, we hold nothing about you from the App. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. If you have contacted us, you can exercise these rights over those messages by writing to the address below; we will reply within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for doing so. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Do Not Track. The App does not track you, so there is nothing for a browser's or device's "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal to turn off. The App uses no cookies.

Security

Your game information never leaves your device, so it is not exposed to our systems or to the internet. Emails you send us are kept in a secured mailbox that only we can access.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version at this address and update the effective date above. If a future version of the App ever begins to collect information, we will update this policy, and the App's privacy details on the App Store, before that version is released.
